Reggae n That feat. Sash Kuttah & Melton John

Pig&Rig presents ‘Reggae n That’ – an eclectic showcase celebrating the rich history & diversity of reggae & other genres of vintage black music. From Studio 1 originals to current producers & releases, ska & rocksteady to heavy roots & hypnotic dub they’ll be no corner untouched! With an exceptional line up this is an event is not to be missed. Now every first Friday of the month!

Holding our foundation of reggae music for the event, we will also be exploring other areas of vintage black music including rhythm & blues, rare groove, soul & hip hop.

Line Up:

Special Guest:

The brains behind ‘Covers: Retracing Reggae Record Sleeves in London’ Sash has an eclectic collection of mystical dub and tangled roots! He graced the stage at ‘Silence of the Hams’ and smashed it, looking forward to what he brings to the table for Reggae n That, not to be missed!

See his project here: https://www.creativereview.co.uk/alex-bartsch-retracing-reggae-record-sleeves-photographed-london/

Special Guest:

Big boi Melton is back on the line up once again to peel out his infamous box of tasty fresh releases. ‘In a steppa style’ as our boy Meton would say…classic Melton. All seriousness, be prepared for a tangy set from the original roots master!

A familiar face around Brixton, Reuben Vibes has been raving on Villa Road and the area from the early 70’s until now! Had his first debut in 15 years at the first ‘Reggae N That’ last month and blew us away! From 80’s dancehall to vintage rare groove & R&B Reuben has got a collection to be feared – you may also know him as Kwaku, the site manager of Pop Brixton, Reuben Vibes is not to be missed!

+ Mr. Gibbon for general zest.
